On Sunday, (March 1) British singer Ed Sheeran entertained Mumbai by singing his hit tracks. But after his show, it was time for Ed to let his hair down. The singer, who is friends with Farah Khan (they know each other through a mutual friend in London, UK), ended up partying with her at Abhishek Bachchan’s home.
An insider reveals, "Farah made Ed meet Abhishek and the two got along very well. They discussed music and football. Abhishek is particularly fond of hip-hop music and the two chatted about it for long."
They partied till late in the night. It was an impromptu decision on Farah’s part to take Ed there as there was a party happening at Abhishek’s home. Incidentally, both Ed and Abhishek support the same football club.
Ask Farah about this and she says, "It was a surprise when my cousin Zubin called me from London to say that Ed Sheeran was going to be in town and wanted to meet up with me and my Bollywood friends. It was very gracious of Abhishek to let me bring Ed and his team to his home," Farah adds, "Not only did Ed hit it off with Abhishek, but before I left, they both also decided that Ed would act in Happy New Year 2."
