RATNANAGAR, MAR 02 - Two more patients, who are undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Hospital, have been found to have contracted swine flu on Monday.
The District Public Health Office, Chitwan, confirmed that out of 14 samples sent to Kathmandu for the lab tests, swine flu was confirmed in the two patients. With this, the number of swine flu patients reached six in the district alone.
Out of sixty samples collected so far in the district for lab tests, six people have been found infected with A (H1N1) virus.
Now, it has been confirmed that the total number of people infected with swine flu throughout the country has reached 43.
According to vector controller at the District Public Health Office Ram KC, the two new swine flu patients are one each from Nawalparasi and Gorkha districts and are undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Hospital.
